Esteban Ocon begins his 4th season with the BWT Alpine F1 Team ahead of the 2023 FIA Formula 1 World Championship campaign.
Last year was Esteban’s 5th full-time season in Formula 1, his most successful in the sport to date- amassing his highest points total in his career so far with 92 points, on his way to 8th overall in the Driver's Championship.
Esteban is well known to the Enstone-Viry family having spent the 2016 season as the team’s Reserve Driver, and, prior to that, was part of the Lotus junior programme during which he won the FIA European Formula 3 title in 2014. A year later Esteban won the GP3 Series crown.
The 26-year-old has started 124 Grands Prix and accumulated 400 points during that time since making his Formula 1 debut as a teenager at the Belgian Grand Prix in 2016.
His best qualifying performance to date remains his superb 3rd place in Belgium in 2018, while his best race result is his stunning debut victory at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix.
This season, Esteban partners fellow frenchman Pierre Gasly as teammates at BWT Alpine F1 Team.
